Other symptoms:

Many people show symptoms of autism which are similar to ADHD i.e. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The problems with social relationships are more severe in the patients of autism as compared to ADHD. 10% of the people having autism are specially equipped with inherent skills such as drawing, music skills, calculating calendar dates or memorizing lists.

Most of the autistic people also have extraordinary high sensory perceptions. This means that they might feel light touch as being extremely painful while deep pressure provides them calm feeling. However, others might not feel such pain. A lot of autistic people have strong food dislikes and likes and every unusual pre-occupation. Around 40 to 70% of these people have sleeping disorders as well.

Other conditions:

PDDs – Pervasive Developmental Disorders are known as ASD – Autism Spectrum Disorders. This means that Autism is also a part of these PDDs. However, this spectrum also contains other types of disorders such as Asperger’s Syndrome or disorder which has overlapping symptoms related to Autism that are on the milder side. PDD-NOS is a type of Pervasive Developmental Disorder (Not Otherwise Specified) in which children exhibit similar symptoms related to autism.

  1. An attention-grabbing discussion is price comment. I feel that you should write more on this matter, it may not be a taboo topic however typically individuals are not sufficient to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers

  2. Thank you for another informative web site. Where else could I get that type of information written in such a perfect way? I have a project that I’m just now working on, and I’ve been on the look out for such information.
