Final test

Simon Baron-Cohen, a psychologist at Cambridge’s Autism Research Centre, and his colleagues developed the Autism-Spectrum Quotient (AQ) test to measure the level of autism traits in adults. In a trial using the test, the average score in the control group was 16.4, and 80% of those with an autism diagnosis scored 32 or higher. While the AQ test is not meant for diagnosis, those who score above 32 and meet the diagnostic criteria for mild autism or Asperger’s syndrome may not experience daily difficulties.
