We are currently in the process of teaching our daughter, who has autism, how to use the restroom for bowel movements. Unfortunately, she seems to be hesitant about the idea. As a result, we have decided to create a video featuring Barbies, which has proven successful for other lessons such as the importance of wearing clothes before going outside to play. Our friends find this amusing, and as a result of their encouragement, we have posted the video on YouTube.

Really really common for autistic kids to not use the toilet...
oh...and I am old...I am almost 32
I should explain further....my daughter is severly autistic. potty training is a real challenge for us. We really arent sicks or anything. One of the ways that she learns is by watching videos we make of her dolls doing things - I am also making one about barbie riding the bus to school as that will be a new exerience for her this fall. We posted this one because our friends thought it was funny - and some of our friends with kids with autism thought it was helpful....
