A Season of Growth: Our Shared Journey with Autism

As the first rays of the summer sun began to warm our home, a sense of anticipation filled the air. My son Saar, a vibrant 17-year-old with a unique perspective shaped by autism, and I stood on the threshold of a journey. This journey was not about reaching a destination but about the shared experiences, the laughter, the tears, and the countless discoveries we would make along the way.

Our first adventure unfolded at a local music festival. The air was alive with the rhythmic beats of drums, the strumming of guitars, and the harmonious blend of voices. Amidst this symphony of sounds and sea of people, I saw a spark ignite in Saar’s eyes. His body began to sway to the rhythm, his face lighting up with pure, unadulterated joy.
